The Faces of the City seminar series is a partnership between the Centre for Urbanism and Built Environment Studies (CUBES) and the South African Research Chair in Spatial Analysis and City Planning (SA&CP) in the School of Architecture and Planning; and the Gauteng City-Region Observatory (GCRO).
In this webinar, two presentations are made. The first presentation, by Adauto Cardoso and Camila Saraiva, is titled ‘‘The Brazilian experience in upgrading precarious settlements: exploring possibilities for South-South comparisons'. The second, by Humberto Meza, is titled 'The Institutionalization of Brazilian Social Activism'.
