This session creates space for peer exchange on experiences that global South cities have faced in responding to emerging resource crises. It unpacks how the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus approach can enhance urban resilience, and asks city officials to share their experiences of undertaking future planning, while having to respond to immediate crises. The session will document innovative strategies from multiple cities addressing crises in water, energy, food and waste systems, all in the context of global polycrises.
