The Housing Development Agency (HDA) has developed and published a new report, which presents a comprehensive risk management framework (PDF, 1.1 MB) developed by the agency to improve the implementation of human settlement projects in South Africa. It outlines tools, guidelines, and lessons learned from past projects, particularly focusing on the challenges and strategies for effective delivery. The report emphasises the importance of a structured, knowledge-based risk management approach in human settlement projects. The tools developed by the HDA are designed to be adaptive and scalable, aiming to improve project outcomes and inform broader sector practices.

Hard copies of the publication are available in the HDA Head Office foyer.
