Dr Sibusisiwe (Khuluse) Makhanya is a Senior Researcher in Statistics.  As a Statistician working in a research environment, most of her work entails providing support on statistical data analysis to researchers in various domains.  However, through research activities on specific projects, she has built up specialised knowledge of methods for analysing risks related to spatiotemporal processes and events, including extreme events. She has a keen interest in sustainability science applications.
