Complex challenges in the built environment require more than technical expertise – they demand creativity, collaboration, and the confidence to act. That’s exactly what you’ll gain in the Design Thinking in Practice (DTIP) programme, a three-day immersive experience hosted at the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at UCT. Design Thinking in Practice is a three-day, in-person course for professionals actively involved in solving problems and leading change within their teams. Through immersive, coach-supported learning, you will develop the mindset, methods, and tools to apply human-centred innovation in real work environments.
Running 4 - 6 November 2025, this professional programme is designed for leaders, managers, and change agents who need practical tools to move from insight to tested solutions. Over three intensive days, you’ll learn by doing – working in multidisciplinary teams on real-world challenges, guided by expert coaches. The programme continues with three post-programme group coaching sessions, included in the fee, to ensure you can embed what you’ve learned into your workplace.
