Land & Corruption
Land governance is a sector that is particularly vulnerable to corruption due to the economic and social value given to the land. To provide an entry point for a better understanding of the high social costs of land corruption, the Land Portal Foundation has launched a new Land & Corruption portfolio. It provides insights into the risks of corruption in land governance and highlights the importance of addressing these risks to achieve social justice, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
Including case studies and an entire section on opportunities for reform, the Land & Corruption portfolio serves as a resource for policymakers, researchers, and civil society organizations to take action toward curbing corruption in land governance.
