the University of KwaZulu-Natal will be hosting e-Participation and Policy Modelling in South Africa International Research School (UEIRS) for all registered doctoral students, new graduate PhDs, and emerging researchers.
The UKZN E-PPMOSA-VVSIDP International Research School Series is a collaborative academic initiative hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). It brings together postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and international scholars to engage in intensive, interdisciplinary training focused on participatory planning, monitoring, and spatial analysis within the context of sustainable and inclusive development. The series forms part of the Virtual Visiting School for Inclusive Development Planning (VVSIDP) and supports the Enhancing Participatory Planning Methods for Spatially Oriented Sustainable Actions (E-PPMOSA) programme. It combines lectures, workshops, and practical exercises to foster capacity-building, knowledge exchange, and co-production of research across the Global South.
