The Township Economic Development (TED) project provides three years of multi-disciplinary technical support to five metropolitan municipalities for the piloting of a multi-sectoral and participatory approach to TED through the planning, resourcing, implementation and institutionalisation cycle within five township spaces. The participating metros are Nelson Mandela Bay (New Brighton), Ethekwini (South Pinetown), Ekurhuleni (Thembisa), Tshwane (Hammanskraal) and Cape Town (Delft).
